Where We Live - Wordless Wednesday

Here are two views from a helicopter of where we live; the house is on the right side of the wide shot in the photo above.
The weather when these were taken was much like it is now. Minus the wind.

  1. That is pretty, were you up in th helicopter? I see some snow free terra firma.

  2. What a wonderful setting. I wish we were somewhere with more land to roam and no neighbours.

  3. You live in a lovely area. I'm sure it is beautiful in spring, which is one of my favorite times of year.

    Enjoy your weekend.
    Blessings,

  4. That looks just wonderful! Nice and serene, fairly isolated. Not so sure about the snow yet. :)

  5. It's a wonderful place to live, yes. We have a few neighbours who have dogs and ATV's, but mostly serenity prevails. The dirt road we drive to get here does not promote either serenity or sanity during the March breakup, but it's worth it.
Yes, I took these photos. We were given a helicopter ride for a Christmas gift a few years ago. I spent the whole trip with the camera window open, photographing everything I could. The trip was in January; I froze. It looks barren because we had had a thaw.
Our spring is fleeting but wonderful. Take a look here http://themsmysentiments.blogspot.com/2008/04/like-first-dandilion-im-back.html and at the post above this one.
