date, no more snow is required. Please send warm and gentle rain instead. Sunshine would be good also, but that may be beyond your capacity at present.
Propitiation

dances are cancelled for the present due to cold-aggravated arthritis.

While I do see some hope in the forecast, it won't exactly be a heatwave. Good grief.
ReplyDeleteAddenda: HEY, CANADA! Keep it to yourself. We've had plenty of your leftovers and spillovers here in NEO. We'd like it to be Spring, once and for all. My daffodils are weary and cold. Our tulip trees are now brown from frostburn. I want to put away my heated winter coat. KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY!

So sorry about that. Blame Western Canada, or the vortex, or whatever. We are also downstream. However, I woke up to no snow this morning. The worst may be over.
