Wow - what a great shot of that bird. See, I'd be gawping at the bird and then remember that I had my camera and then I'd dig around in my bag for it and set it all up and meanwhile the bird would have flown away and then I'd get a photo of some scum on a pond...which I guess could also be interesting...sort of?
great shot of that heron. Enjoy your fall. I don't know how it is up there, but fall is the best time of the year temperature and weather wise for us.
